Job description
VertiGIS develops software solutions for Geographic Information Systems (GIS). We are a leading provider of GIS solutions in the fields of energy supply, water management, land management, government, infrastructure, facility management and telecommunications. Our products help organizations plan, manage and optimize networks, assets and processes – in daily use worldwide.
You will join our Partner team and take responsibility for expanding, supporting and further developing our international partner network. In this role, you will recruit and support channel partners, identify joint business opportunities and ensure that our partners successfully represent VertiGIS in the market.
The responsibilities of the position include:
Partner Recruitment & Network Expansion
Identify, qualify and recruit new channel partners (e.g., system integrators, resellers, GIS service providers)
Manage partner onboarding and ensure a smooth handover to the Enablement and Sales teams
Partner Management & Joint Business Development
Maintain and further develop existing partner relationships, including regular business reviews and pipeline discussions
Plan and execute joint go‑to‑market activities in collaboration with Sales and Marketing
Performance Management & Internal Collaboration
Analyze partner revenue, pipeline contribution and market potential, and derive targeted actions
Work closely with Enablement, Marketing, Sales and Product Management to align on strategic requirements and initiatives
Job requirements
Experience in partner or channel management within a software, technology or GIS‑related environment, ideally with system integrators, value‑added resellers or strategic partners
Proven experience in joint business development (e.g., pipeline building, go‑to‑market activities, business reviews) and confident use of CRM systems
Ability to communicate complex products and solution approaches in a clear and structured way, and to support partners in positioning and promoting our solutions
Structured, independent working style and strong communication skills; native‑level German and business‑fluent English and Italian
Nice to have (not mandatory):
Knowledge of the GIS/Esri ecosystem, experience with international channel programs, or background in SaaS‑ or cloud‑based software solutions.
Working Conditions
👉 For this position: Moderate travel within DACH (e.g., individual partner meetings or events). Work is primarily digital.

Employment is based on the IT collective agreement.
The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 55,300 (38.5 h/week).
Actual compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
