As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll work closely with our Account Executives to generate interest in VertiGIS’ solutions. From prospecting and lead qualification to identifying business and technical needs, you’ll play a key role in introducing organizations to the value we offer.

Location
We will support a remote working model with preference in NY, MA, PA, DC, NC, SC, VA, GA, FL.
We will support a hybrid working model in Richmond, VA specifically.
Responsibilities
Perform inbound lead follow-up, including sales qualification and discovery calls, to determine if leads are a fit for our product suite
Perform outbound prospecting leveraging multiple communication channels, including email, social media platforms, telephone, etc.
Develop a solid understanding of our product suite and its ROI to enable productive communication with customers and prospects
Leverage customer intelligence to identify potential new revenue opportunities within our existing customer base and target market
Support our Account Managers on business development research, sales administration, and customer care related tasks
Assist with inside sales and business development initiatives, including campaigns, webinars, and conferences
Perform pending and lapsed subscription/maintenance renewal follow-up
Occasionally assist in the development of sales quotations, presentations, and sales collateral as needed
Job requirements
1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (SaaS or tech environment preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and qualify prospects effectively
Comfortable conducting outreach via phone, email, and social media platforms
Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate technical product value and ROI
Strong research and analytical skills to identify customer needs and market opportunities
Experience supporting sales processes, including CRM data entry, follow-ups, and administrative tasks
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proactive and collaborative team player with a customer-first mindset
Willingness to occasionally assist in preparing sales materials, presentations, and quotations
Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to attend and support virtual or in-person campaigns, webinars, and events as needed
