The VertiGIS Group

develops software solutions for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Telecommunications (Telco). Our products help network operators, municipal utilities, and infrastructure companies efficiently plan, manage, and expand complex network structures. ConnectMaster™ is our Telco solution for planning, documenting, and analyzing telecommunications networks. The platform enables network operators, utilities, and service providers to model fiber and copper networks consistently, transparently, and efficiently – from network architecture and capacities to locations and detailed connections.

As an Account & Sales Manager (m/f/x), you will be responsible for expanding our Telco business successfully and positioning ConnectMaster™ with new and existing customers in the DACH market (focus on Germany).

Main responsibilities

Market development and new business

  • Identify and qualify new opportunities with network operators, municipal utilities, and Telco service providers

  • Position ConnectMaster™ with decision-makers and define relevant use cases

  • Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline, including forecasting and regular market analysis

Customer relationships and solution consulting

  • Act as the main contact for existing customers, focusing on growth opportunities and long-term partnerships

  • Conduct needs analyses and present tailored solutions together with Pre-Sales

  • Prepare clear proposals and presentations addressing both technical and commercial requirements

Sales processes and execution

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from initial inquiry to contract closing

  • Collaborate closely with Professional Services to ensure smooth project handover

  • Document all activities in CRM (NetSuite) and provide regular reporting and forecasting

Job requirements

  • Sound knowledge of the telecommunications industry or related infrastructure areas; ideally experience with network planning, network documentation, or OSS/BSS systems

  • High technical comprehension and ability to quickly understand complex topics

  • Experience in solution-oriented sales, preferably with consultancy-intensive software solutions, including value selling, and stakeholder management

  • Proficient in handling offers, CRM (NetSuite) and managing the entire sales cycle

  • Language skills: Fluent in German (written and spoken) and a good command of English

  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region (approx. 20–30%), especially for customer meetings and trade fairs
